Stamford native Rachel Barstow announced late last year she was done dating other people and was going to focus on herself. “I got tired of being constantly let down, ghosted on and forgotten,” she said late Sunday. “I figured the only person good enough for me was me!”
What followed surprised her: “I’m a real piece of work,” she admitted.
Over the course of months, she became exhausted with her constant need for long in-depth talks and relationship reassurance. Her demands for compliments about her appearance, talent and personality became cumbersome.
“I couldn’t even look at other girls without being jealous. Did I want to be with her over me?!”
When exes were called for interviews, they simply said “no comment”. Rachel is reading into it.
