Have you seen that boy Drake? He is just always so upset. I’m worried about him! Here are some photos I found of Drake. Let’s try to figure out what could be plaguing him.
Here is a photo I found of Drake from Nicki Minaj’s “Only” music video:
Drake looks very confused and rather distressed here, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what could be causing him this pain. Going by his furrowed brow and craned neck, I’m going to guess that Drake has seen something on the floor, but he’s not sure if it is a spooky spider or just a big piece of dust.
This picture of Drake is from his “Hotline Bling” music video:
Drake is crying to the heavens, wrapped in shapeless, colorless cloth. This level of deep despair worries me that something truly horrible has happened to him. Taking cues from his clothing, posture and surroundings, I posit that here, Drake is upset because he has been trapped in an advanced-difficulty mouse maze by God who is so big and far away that he cannot tell the difference between humans and rodents. I hope Drake is able to shout loud enough that God hears him and realizes His mistake.
This Upset Drake Moment comes from his “Hold On, We’re Going Home” video:
Drake fights back tears alone in a swanky bathroom, but why? Judging by the ill-fitting cut of his white suit and the rumpled pile of clothing he seems to be looking at, I think that Drake went out for a ladies night with all his besties but couldn’t find his going-out top and had to throw on some rando outfit from the back of his closet because he ran out of time. Then, when he got home from after, he saw that his cute top had been lying on the bathroom floor where he left it after last Ladies Night the whole time.
This one comes from Rihanna’s “Work” video. Not that one, the other one:
I know this expression well. It’s the one that happens when you realize that when you left home this morning you totally forgot to switch off the wood-burning furnace! By the time Drake gets home, he’ll have torched through an entire winter’s supply of kindling and have to spend a full weekend in the snowy woods with his biggest axe, hoping he can fell enough trees and split enough logs to get him through the season.
